File a Complaint
The NAACP is committed to assisting people who feel that they have been discriminated against
for unjust reasons. In order to be of assistance to you, we must have an honest sincere summary
of events that lead to your belief that you were mistreated. Write a cover letter stating who you
are and what your complaint concerns.
In your summary, it is important that you list all dates and times in which actions may have been
accumulating towards the final act. You must also list any witnesses to these actions. List the
name(s) of people who are a part of the offense in any way. If this is work related and your
company (place of employment) has a policy manual that contains supportive evidence that may
help your case, please provide a copy of the manual.
Complete the following form and attach a written summary of your complaint. The enclosed
form must accompany your complaint.
